Unionized Workplaces

For unionized workplaces, we provide a full range of services relating to certification, labour board proceedings, collective bargaining and grievance arbitration. 

While the above are examples of some common situations which arise, we also provide services in a range of other areas. These include employment issues arising in relation to the purchase or sale of an existing business, workplace safety and health matters, and mediation of workplace issues.

In addition to providing services on an hourly basis, Kersey Workplace Law is happy to discuss whether your situation may be appropriate for an alternative fee arrangement. These arrangements can be utilized to provide certainty with regard to legal expenses.

Packages

New businesses or employers experiencing growth may need a number of employment agreements and appropriate policies. In such cases, we would be happy to discuss a bundled option including guidance regarding what should be implemented.

Fixed fee arrangements

Standard form employment agreements, offer letters, and policies may be available through a fixed fee arrangement. 

Subscription legal services

Proactive early management of employee issues can help employers avoid those issues evolving into disruptive and costly disputes. Where an employer has regular employment law needs, we also offer a subscription model which allows members of management to call with their questions without incurring fees on an hourly basis.
